My Journey
VW Holistic Wellness
My Philosophy & Approach
At the heart of my practice is a commitment to helping clients reconnect with themselves as a whole, mind, body, and spirit. I believe that when we feel disconnected, whether due to stress, injury, or illness, it creates an imbalance that impacts our overall health. The body's natural equilibrium can be restored by gently guiding clients back to a place of awareness and self-connection, allowing for healing, growth, and a more harmonious state of being.
My Journey
My journey into holistic wellness was shaped by personal experience and curiosity about holistic health. Formerly a Marketing and Event Manager in London, UK, I shifted toward wellness advocacy after discovering first-hand how integrative therapies could transform my health and well-being. Having witnessed the profound impact of stress in both my professional and personal life, due to health issues, I developed a deep empathy for others facing similar challenges.
Professional Background
As a certified Reflexologist with over seven years of experience, I’ve pursued advanced training with internationally renowned experts to deepen my knowledge and broaden the support I offer. I hold additional certifications in:
Pain Management & Emotional Health Reflexology
Reflexology for Chronic Illness
Reflexology Lymph Drainage
Facial Reflexology
Orthopedic Reflexology
Cancer & Palliative Care Reflexology
This diverse training allows me to tailor each session to my client’s unique needs, offering a truly holistic approach.
Trauma Support
I offer Trauma Incident Reduction (TIR), a structured, client-centred approach that helps individuals gently and safely process unresolved trauma. Developed through Applied Metapsychology International, TIR supports emotional healing by allowing clients to explore difficult experiences independently, without judgment or interpretation. This work often leads to increased clarity, lasting relief, and a deeper sense of resilience. TIR can be especially helpful for those navigating anxiety, grief, stress, or past traumatic events that continue to affect daily life (PTSD).
Energy Work
In addition to trauma support, I bring over 20 years of experience as a Reiki practitioner. Energy work remains a deeply integrated part of my practice, helping to restore balance and harmony on an energetic level. Whether the focus is emotional, spiritual, or physical, Reiki offers a gentle yet powerful way to support the body’s natural healing process.
Cultural Influences
Originally from the UK, I’ve travelled all over the world, lived in Greece and Canada, and now the USA, calling the Philadelphia area home, where I live with my husband, three daughters, and our dog. My international background has shaped a culturally informed and compassionate approach to care, reflecting a belief that healing is both personal and universal.
